About the Magazine
Our love for all things creepy is what drives us here at Grim Magazine. For as long as I can remember, I’ve always been drawn to everything related to horror and the paranormal. Every eerie sound I heard in my house as a child used to send chills down my spine, and not in a good way. I think I have always believed in ghosts or spirits, something that is beyond our comprehension. It probably is no surprise that my favorite books were those from R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps, Monsters by Bruce Coville, and Creepy Creatures and Other Cucuys by Xavier Garza, to name a few. My interest and passion for horror and the paranormal only grew as I got older. To this day I have not changed, and I still love going on ghost tours of old cities (especially in Louisianna), visiting supposedly haunted places and abandoned buildings and hearing the fascinating histories of far-away places.
Hense, the reason Grim Magazine was created and dedicated to everything related to the horror genre. If you’ve only recently discovered our magazine you might be wondering where to start. Of course, you could always start at our Reviews section and discover a great horror movie you’ve yet to see, or maybe that ‘edge-of-your-seat, page-turning’ new book. Another great place to catch up on a few of our favorite features would be our Editor’s Choice section. And for the latest genre news, don’t forget to check the Homepage and News pages regularly, as we update our website constantly.
If you’re a morbid curiosity seeker you might prefer to check out our Wicked Tales section before you delve into the entire magazine. With that in mind, whatever you need to satisfy your horror cravings, you can be sure we’ll have it here. Grim Magazine is most definitely a place where people can find a large selection of everything horror, and we’re still growing!
Let me also add real quick that we have recently begun accepting direct submissions to our website, so if you love writing on horror and desire to get your work read by others, feel free to submit your scary stories, reviews, or other-worldly frightening experiences to be added to Grim Magazine… as long as it’s sent to us by the original author. If you decide to submit your own story to the magazine, you will receive full credit of course, but also we’ll add a link to your website/social media sites, and a chance to be in the highlights with our Feature of the Month section when we post and share your work. This is a great opportunity for the new writer or horror enthusiast. This can be done as easily as sending a quick message to:
